Delegation of US Senate paid visit to the Estonian MoD

The Estonian Minister of Defence Mr. Sven Mikser thanked the members of US Senate Armed Services Committee for the long-lasting support to the Estonian defence by the US and for implementing a deterrence initiative.

During the meeting was discussed that a potential aggression from Russia can be deterred preferably by the preemptive and deterrent military presence. Estonia is grateful to the USA for the investment to our defence structures and hopes it to last for a longer period of time.

Baltic Sea training exercises demonstrate the dedication of allies

This summer, the allies will be carrying out large-scale training exercises on the Baltic Sea. The United States will be leading the annual international Baltic region training exercise BALTOPS, while the United Kingdom will be leading the deployment exercise Baltic Protector.
